Everards Teams Up with Belgian Brewer

The Leicestershire-based brewer has joined forces with Val Dieu to brew the cask conditioned 5.5% ABV Val Dieu Abbaye Blonde. The beer will go on sale in hundreds of JD Wetherspoon pubs as part of its ‘World’s Largest International Real Ale Festival’. The pub chain has selected 50 guest ales including Val Dieu Abbaye Blonde, hailing from countries such as the UK, Finland, Australia, America and Holland. “We love having the opportunity to brew international beer and it was a pleasure to welcome everyone from Val Dieu to work together on the brewing of their beer,” said Everards’ head brewer Graham Giblett. “The result is a pale lager type beer with a delicate bitterness that is smooth on the palate.” [...more]

Everards Tiger B Flows Down Canal

Passionate Everards employee, Peter Adcock, decided to name his vessel after his favorite cask ale. Pete originally owned a narrow boat called Tiger M, which was named by a previous owner who owned a tiger moth. Pete then purchased a brand new shell and completed the fit out of the new narrow boat which he has named Tiger B, he thought the name and pump design fitted well with the new boat. [...more]
