Patron Spirits Co Tackles Underage Drinking

The Patron Spirits Company has teamed up with the Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) to help prevent underage drinking. The Federal Trade Commission's new nationwide campaign is called "We Don't Serve Teens." Working with DISCUS, the Patron Spirits Company has donated several outdoor advertising locations in major US markets including Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Dallas, Miami and Atlanta to help the FTC get the message across that the legal drinking age is 21. Patron is also working with its stadium partners around the country - including BankAtlantic Center in South Florida, Cowboys Stadium in Texas, Nashville's Sommet Center, and the TD Garden in Boston - to produce signage, public service announcements, server badges and other materials to communicate the "We Don't Serve Teens" message. Patron field staff across the US are also encouraging retailers to display "We Don't Serve Teens" window decals and train their sales personnel and servers about the consequences of allowing underage drinking.
